of 'Hales' style circa 1840, with half round half octagonal 6in. iron barrel banded at the intersection and muzzle, small applied blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the top of the florally engraved top-strap, plain underhammer with unguarded trigger, walnut semi-pointed smooth butt with integral side-plates (one cracked and repaired) and brass grip-straps, 10 3/8in. overall, weight approximately 1lb.
